This wine shows an intense ruby-red colour with violet highlights, and opens with a captivating aroma of ripe red cherries and plums blended with subtle hints of vanilla and spice. On the palate it is full-bodied and well-structured, offering flavours of blackberries, dark chocolate and liquorice, supported by firm tannins and a clean, persistent finish. It pairs beautifully with grilled or roasted meats and aged cheeses, and is best served at around 18 °C.
