Dark ruby-to-maroon in colour, the nose opens with concentrated black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry) alongside vibrant dark cherry, cassis and subtle herbaceous touches (bay leaf, mint) that reflect the Maipo terroir. Secondary aromas bring in toasted vanilla oak, tobacco leaf, and a hint of dark chocolate or liquorice.
On the palate it is full-bodied and structured: firm yet refined tannins, balanced acidity, flavours of ripe black fruit, plum and cherry are accented by spice (cloves, peppercorn), coffee-chocolate finish and a long, persistent mineral-tinged finish. Ideal now but with potential to age 5–8 years for further integration.
